NH Fashion Week: A Huge Success!
The first-ever NH Fashion Week, held at The Factory on Willow, was a spectacular event organized by the talented fashion designer Dina Akel. From the moment I walked in, the energy was infectious, and the warm atmosphere made it a night to remember. Though the event kicked off at 6 PM, the main show began at 7:30 PM, and I settled into my seat with a Viera Luxe goodie bag, setting the tone for an evening filled with style and elegance.
DJ Greg from NRG Entertainment, alongside the MC from Massive Entertainment Group, got the crowd pumped before the first collection hit the runway. Dan's Balloons kicked off the show with a creative fall-themed dress made entirely of balloons, worn by model Latoya LaMonda, reminding us why autumn is such a magical time in New Hampshire.
Collections That Stole the Show
Next, Viera Luxe showcased a stunning collection of evening wear, featuring a few standout floral suits that exuded elegance and sophistication. Madison/Savile followed up with a chic lineup of suits, jumpsuits, and dresses in sleek black, beige plaid, and gray tones, blending versatility with class.
Liliana Puertas brought a modern twist to bridal wear, with short dresses, jumpsuits, and two-piece suits that broke away from traditional norms. This segment concluded on a high note with the stunning gowns by Danielle Warren from Boutique Leslie Bridal, showcasing her brand new collection, Leslie Couture.
A Standout Moment
One of the standout collections of the evening was from the Peanut Butter Collection, featuring colorful suits with hoods, long jackets, and vests. My personal favorite? The Pharaoh Yellow suit—a bold, creative masterpiece that caught everyone’s attention with its originality and flair.
Live Art Performance by Lance Johnson
In the middle of the show, artist Lance Johnson wowed the audience with a live art performance. His piece featured the words "SOUL," "WISDOM," and "BEAUTY," beautifully blending vibrant colors that represented love and inspiration. It was a powerful moment, adding depth and meaning to the evening.
An Unforgettable Night
Overall, NH Fashion Week was a tremendous success, proudly sponsored by Positive Street Art. The creative talent on display and the high energy of the night made this event truly unforgettable. I can’t wait for next year’s show!
